It's been a while since I've played so you may have fixed this already, but sometimes when I was trying to deconstruct something else and there happened to be a ghost in the selected zone, I would erase it by accident because your mod didn't correctly filter it out. (this is when it was set to only deconstruct trees and rocks)
The idea this inspired is basically a ghost killer/cancel deconstruction mode for when you give the wrong order to your bots and have to erase a whole bunch of ghosts or to actually be able to cancel deconstructions. Which you can't really do in vanilla iirc.
