Thank you for your input, i will reduce the pollution as suggested as a quick "fix". The complete mod set may require changes for balancing stuff.
Planned is also to have research for speed and range ... also taking into account the distance of the tree being chopped ...
For those other suggestions:
The destruction planner icon is marking the wood harvester for destruction after running out of trees, change the setting if you don't want to destruct it, i.e. when you have Noxys Trees or similar in use. (this feature was already present in the implementation i used formerly)
The visual indicator for the range is already on my roadmap.
