First of all let me thank you for the mod, it's pretty cool to turn europe or any other region of the world into a nice factory :D

I am really amazed how detailes the world looks, even small islands and the coast just look a lot like in real life.
I assume you've pulled some kind of data from google maps or something similiar? Or is it all hand made? o.O

Anyway ... I'm the moderator of the german factorio facebook group and sadly quite a few factorio players in that group do not understand english that well. That's why I decided to make mod spotlights in the german language, so more people get to enjoy awesome mods like this one =)

I would be super happy if you would consider to link my tutorial on your mod onto your modpage to help german speaking factorio players to help how to use your mod in the best way :)

I actually used these pictures: http://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/10m-raster-data/10m-natural-earth-2/ Then I wrote a Python script to convert it to useable data for the lua scripting code.

About the german video, is it still up to date for this latest version of the mod? If so, I'd be happy to add it. Also, if you check out the source code here: https://github.com/TheOddler/FactorioWorld/tree/master/locale/en there is a file with the translations for the menu items. Currently I only have enlgish, but if you could translate them into german, I would be happy to add them to the mod so the mod is german in game too!

So yea, I am inactive here. I didn't know there were messages here, until now. So I enabled email notifications, and now I won't miss all the messages any more, I hope.
