Modifier-click a recipe and it becomes a live, inventory-aware crafting checklist — automatically broken down into everything you still need to make or gather.
How it works
- Grab from the crafting menu —
Ctrl+Shift+Left-clicka recipe to add it as a goal (+1),Ctrl+Shift+Right-clickfor+5. Re-clicking just increments. (Rebindable in Controls.) - Live breakdown — each goal expands into a nested, collapsible tree of its components, recomputed from your current inventory. Things you already have drop out; only real shortfalls remain.
- Counts what you really have — main inventory, the stack in your cursor, ingredients reserved in your hand-crafting queue, and fluids in storage tanks. Items still mid-craft don't count until they're actually in your inventory.
- Smart recipe choice — when something can be made several ways it picks the simplest (cheapest in raw materials), prefers researched recipes, and avoids barrel/box/recycling loops.
- Readiness at a glance — an item turns green when you can hand-craft it right now, yellow when a machine can make it from inputs you already have.
- Heads-up overlay — close the panel and a compact, click-through overlay keeps your top remaining needs on screen.
- Manual tasks — add free-form to-dos with an icon and description, tick them off, and reorder anything.
Settings (per player)
- Min ticks per recalculation — refresh rate / overhead cap (default 15).
- Max breakdown depth — component-tree depth guard (default 25).
- Auto-remove completed goals — drop finished goals, or keep them with a green tick (default on).
