i test program suite?

has anybody ever thought about, or attempted, to build a test suite of fCPU programs that detect when each specific feature is broken, or fixed? this device is a prime candidate for that kind of testing. it's very much harder to build and maintain any kind of a processor without that.

and maybe a blueprint or two, to set up wiring for i/o testing.

anybody?
