without the mod, loading a new game takes 15 minutes....

I do not recommend playing EI-SE with Krastorio 2 (forked version for this modpack) on old PC, have same problems until upgraded to powerful notebook with AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX. Without KR2 launch should take a couple of minutes.

And seems need to mark ultimate research queue as incompatible, it have issues with Exotic Industries long before (and seems URQ author did not made anything to make them work together), thanks for report.

Thanks for the reply. By the way, the launch is now much faster for some reason, but I didn't touch anything
