• Yes. When you're not looking at the menu there is no active scripting.

Can I safely uninstall skin mods?

• Currently when a skin mod is uninstalled while somebody is still using it they will loose all their items and equipment. So be sure to tell all your friends to switch to a safe skin before uninstalling.

Can I safely uninstall this mod?

• Only if you switch to the default "Engineer" skin before uninstalling. Otherwise you might end up without a character.
