This is the second mod I've seen with an electric boiler. Why is the power to steam ratio the same? Why can't I use the electric boiler to generate power? Am I missing something? Why isn't there a setting to increase steam generation so I can generate power? Balance-wise, I'm still using up a ton of space.

This is only used to generate steam for recipes. The space age foundry has a recipe to turn steam into heavy oil for example. Also, many mods uses steam as an ingredient.
Creating an infinite power loop is extremely frowned upon in factorio community, because its basically cheating and trivializes the entire puzzle aspect of the game.
