the texture is messed up even because its 3x3 and normal biolers are 2x3 i recommand it to make 2x3 because it will fit in old steam desings
what mk? mk4 is made to output linearly so its hard to make changes in that one , fluid boxes are a hard to work with in general

check out electricboiler_0.17.3 by Mobius1 he created a fitt in size and not messed up grafik version of this which is the basic boiler....

so you would have to change to fluid input and output of the boxes , the colisiion and selection box
