Vanilla construction area is 30x30, my 16x16.
Vanilla robot limit is 10, my 100.
I made this mod for my friend, he say drones work better with small AoE.
Personally, I do not see difference, but he likes it.
When mining trees and placing floor tiles, smaller is better. Especially in early game with slower robots when using a 'early start' mod that gives you early bots. Would be nice to have an option to set the size. I usually start with a 10x10 area. (I miss the Closest First mod that let you set this.)
