Detonation: When Ammo Blows Up [ALPHA]
Storage is no longer safe.
Detonation makes explosive cargo dangerous. If an entity is destroyed while it contains explosive ammunition or capsules, those items can detonate at the entity's position instead of simply disappearing.
This means ammo boxes, vehicles, belts, machines, and even player inventories can become a real hazard when destroyed. A careless warehouse full of rockets, cannon shells, grenades, artillery shells, or other explosive payloads may turn into a chain of explosions.
The mod is designed to make explosive storage more meaningful: you can protect it, spread it out, weaponize it, or accept the risk.
What you get
- Explosive contents detonate when their container is destroyed. (chests, drones, players, vehicles, belts, inserters, etc.)
- Supports many projectile and capsule-style explosive items.
- Supports launcher-sensitive ammo behavior such as flamethrower, railgun, and tesla-style effects where possible.
- Works with item quality.
- Uses deterministic behavior for multiplayer compatibility.
- Tries to detect explosive behavior dynamically, which helps with modded ammo compatibility.

Spreads large detonations over multiple ticks instead of triggering everything instantly. -
Delay before detonation
Adds a delay before the first explosion starts.
