Tiny-island Expanse gameplay for Multi-Team Support: feed hungry chests, unlock land, race teams, and survive invasions.
Mods introducing new content into the game.
Version: 0.1.23
Date: 30. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Soft reset preserves the rockets and cargo pods belonging to preserved mission silos,
including mission cargo in transit and pods arriving at the preserved landing pad.
- Existing saves automatically recover mission silos stuck at ready-to-launch with a
missing rocket. Recovery preserves cargo, modules, item quality and spoilage metadata,
completed rocket parts, settings, circuit wires, and mission progress.
- Healthy silos and the configured minimum cargo weight for launch remain unchanged.
No map reset or manual console repair is required.
Tests:
- Recovered five damaged silos in an existing multiplayer save. All four full rockets
launched and received mission credit; tier 8 advanced from mission level 5 to 6.
- Passed 60 native recovery checks across standalone, MTS, and platform support, plus
162 existing soft-reset checks covering vanilla and Space Age.
Version: 0.1.22
Date: 29. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Perishable mission rewards stay fresh in the hidden source hub and overflow buffers.
Spoilage resumes normally after dispatch; delivered items are not refreshed or deleted.
- Existing fruit buffers clogged with spoilage automatically discard that waste so fresh
rewards can be produced again, even when the landing pad requests zero spoilage.
- Intentional spoilage mission rewards are retained and remain available on request.
Storage bounds, item quality, production rates, pad requests, and capacity limits remain.
Tests:
- Passed 108 native spoilage checks across standalone/MTS and NonOrbit/platform support,
including persisted clogged buffers, repeated spoilage, actual arrivals, and normal
spoilage in delivered or unrelated inventories. Passed 102 existing cargo checks.
Version: 0.1.21
Date: 27. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Soft reset now removes all enemy entity types on the resetting team's surface,
including stomper/strafer pentapods, demolishers, and attacks already in flight.
- Other teams' surfaces and non-enemy forces remain untouched by enemy cleanup.
Research, map progress, and hungry chest offers are preserved as before.
Version: 0.1.20
Date: 26. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed invasions silently failing after saved custom event IDs shifted during a mod change.
Warnings, detonations, and enemy waves now use the same current IDs as their handlers.
- Fixed hungry chest and mission updates reaching unrelated player-permission handlers.
- Existing saves keep factories, research, expansion progress, and pending invasion timers.
Previously discarded invasion events are not replayed; no map reset is required.
Tests:
- Reproduced the reported get_player(nil) error and missing invasions on published 0.1.19.
- Passed eight native reload/upgrade runs across standalone and MTS, vanilla and Space Age,
checking actual enemies, blast damage, chest payment, future timers, and saved factories.
- Passed standalone/package and official MTS compatibility checks on Factorio 2.0.77.
Version: 0.1.19
Date: 26. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Mission cargo is dispatched every second instead of waiting for the next production batch.
- Dedicated reward pods carry up to 80 slots and skip the hidden support silo's launch delay.
Normal landing animations, pad requests, incoming reservations, and free-space checks remain.
Standard rocket and platform cargo pod sizes are unchanged.
- A regularly cleared, ordinary landing pad now receives the full default production rate
even with every mission upgrade unlocked, in both NonOrbit and platform support modes.
Tests:
- Maximum M4 received all 270 expected asteroid chunks over six minutes, previously only 60.
- Maximum M4-M10 received all 15,348 expected items over six minutes, with every item matching
at every cycle, including with requests configured. No cargo spilled on the ground.
- Verified blocked-pad recovery, stored-cargo conservation, and request/capacity regressions.
Version: 0.1.18
Date: 26. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- A hidden mission hub full of asteroid chunks no longer blocks newly unlocked rewards.
Each reward item can use a small, bounded overflow inventory when the shared hub is full.
- Cargo delivery resumes after the last stack sent so a busy hatch cannot continually
prioritize early asteroid stacks over later rewards.
- Overflow inventories preserve item quality and spoilage and are cleaned up on team reset
or release. Existing rewards, landing pad requests, and capacity checks are preserved.
Tests:
- Passed 102 native cargo checks across standalone and MTS games with both support modes,
including full-hub starvation, slow hatches, bounded storage, and actual pod arrival.
- Verified 71 mission progression steps and invasion triggering after paid cell unlocks
and save/reload. This release does not change invasion rules.
Version: 0.1.17
Date: 25. 09. 2026
Features:
- Space Age mission reward drops now respect the receiving landing pad's requests, including
item quality, section multipliers, disabled requests, and circuit-controlled requests.
Requests are stock targets: pad contents and incoming cargo count toward the requested amount.
Bugfixes:
- Scripted reward pods reserve available landing pad space before launch, including shared
slots and incoming cargo. Full or missing pads retain goods at the mission source for retry.
- Pads without configured requests keep automatic reward delivery, limited by free space.
- One-time mission rewards that do not fit at the source are saved and retried without loss.
Passive production rates are unchanged; production pauses when source storage is full.
Tests:
- Added native Factorio request, capacity, circuit, quality, and actual pod arrival regressions
for standalone and MTS games with NonOrbit and orbit-platform support.
Version: 0.1.16
Date: 22. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed recycled team slots spawning on NonOrbit or another team's surface after a mod update.
Gameplay surfaces are now checked by name as well as index, and released team state is cleared.
- Mod updates no longer recreate mission support surfaces for retired teams. Affected occupied
teams recover their existing Expanse world, or a new starting cell if their old world was deleted.
Healthy factories, research, and mission progress are preserved.
Tests:
- Added native Factorio regressions for reused surface indices, upgrade recovery, team release,
and preserving another team's world in vanilla and Space Age.
Version: 0.1.15
Date: 19. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Team forfeit now clears items from Expanse hungry chests, including their trash inventories,
while preserving the chests, offers, and already-paid expansion progress.
- Team forfeit now cancels every queued craft, including large batches and prerequisite recipes,
and removes refunded ingredients from inventories and the ground.
Tests:
- Added headless forfeit regressions for vanilla, Space Age, and MTS, including quality items,
real character crafting queues, overflowing refunds, and isolation from other surfaces.
Version: 0.1.14
Date: 19. 09. 2026
Changes:
- Reduced the default time evolution factor from 0.000002 to 0.0000005: time alone
now reaches approximately 23.2% evolution after seven running game days from zero,
compared with approximately 54.7% previously. Pollution and nest-kill factors are unchanged.
- Existing saves keep their stored settings. Admins can apply the new time factor through
Settings > Mod settings > Map; this changes future growth without resetting existing evolution.
Version: 0.1.13
Date: 18. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed one-time mission rewards failing to reach the mission hub, which could leave completed
missions stuck at their current level. Applies to NonOrbit and orbit platform support.
- Cancelled automatic victory resets already queued in existing saves when upgrading.
Changes:
- Victory now announces completion and lets the factory continue running. Removed the automatic
map reset and its delay setting; manual admin reset commands remain available.
Tests:
- Added headless reward and continued-play tests for standalone and MTS games with NonOrbit or
orbit platform support, plus vanilla and upgrades from 0.1.12 saves with pending resets.
Version: 0.1.12
Date: 18. 09. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed Space Age tier-4 specials getting stuck generating oil, preventing discovery of the
cargo landing pad and tier-4 rocket silo even when tier-5 through tier-9 silos were found.
Existing saves resume the oil, landing pad, and silo sequence as more tier-4 cells open.
Tests:
- Added headless tier-4 progression checks for standalone and MTS teams, including stuck-save
retry counts, blocked placement, force ownership, duplicate prevention, and vanilla oil.
Version: 0.1.11
Date: 04. 06. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed stale Multi-Team Support pending teleports for disconnected players aborting the
Expanse update tick, which could freeze hungry chest scans, invasion tracking, and GUI
counters on existing saves.
Version: 0.1.10
Date: 01. 06. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Prevented MTS team initialization from resetting the global Factorio game timer.
- Fixed lake fish being missing after water cells are opened by preserving existing fish and
deterministically seeding fish into fishless opened lakes.
Features:
- Added a player-facing Forfeit action that clears team inventories, corpses, dropped items,
player-built entities, and active biter attacks while preserving research and unlocked
Expanse land.
- Added a top-bar skull button, confirmation dialog, /expanse-forfeit command, and
automatic prompt after 2 biter deaths within 1 minute.
- Kept the Forfeit prompt top-centered without covering the death timer, and update its
death count when players keep dying in the prompt window.
- Forfeit completion announcements are global so all teams can see which force forfeited.
Tests:
- Added headless lake fish open probes for standalone and MTS team scenarios.
- Added headless probes for Forfeit behavior in standalone and MTS team modes.
Version: 0.1.9
Date: 31. 05. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed infini rocks stacking when a player hand-mines the rock with a full inventory and
Factorio aborts the mine after the pre-mine handler has already spawned the replacement.
Version: 0.1.8
Date: 30. 05. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Fixed hungry chests displaced by lakes or other unbuildable frontier tiles so opening them
uses the stored target cell instead of requiring adjacency to out-of-map.
- Existing saves now repair frontier hungry chests on configuration change, rebuilding stale
or missing chest targets after upgrading from older versions.
Tests:
- Added headless probes for displaced lake hungry chests in single-team and MTS team modes.
Version: 0.1.7
Date: 29. 05. 2026
Optimizations:
- Spread hungry-chest scanning across smaller batches so large team maps do not process every
tracked chest in one update.
- Avoid rebuilding requester sections and refreshing GUI stats for revealed hungry chests when
no requested items changed.
- Report infini tree and rock mining milestones to Multi-Team Support only when a configured
threshold is crossed.
Version: 0.1.6
Date: 29. 05. 2026
Features:
- Per-team milestones via Multi-Team Support: first/fastest to unlock Expanse cells
(1st, 10th ... 10000th) and to mine the infini tree / rock (100 ... 100000 times),
shown in the Team Awards window.
- An on-surface overlay above each team's spawn cell shows the team (colour + leader),
cells unlocked, and the next biter invasion -- readable by the team and by spectators.
- Mined wood and the rock's ore and stone are registered in production statistics, so
they show per team in the native Production GUI (and the MTS Ores awards/columns).
Changes:
- Hungry chests are now fully independent per team: rerolling or feeding one team's
chest never changes another team's chest that they have not opened yet.
- Cross-team parity: tree-regrowth species and rock yields (ore type + amount) are
deterministic by shared seed, position, and mine index, so every team's Nth tree and
Nth rock match. Bonus reroll tokens and depleted-stone uranium are position-keyed too.
- Destroying the rock with a tank (or any team weapon) now counts toward the mining
milestone, like hand or robot mining; biter kills do not.
- MTS integration (welcome tab, team-settings tab, milestones) self-heals on load.
Info:
- Requires Multi-Team Support 0.4.44+ for the milestone interface.
Version: 0.1.5
Date: 28. 05. 2026
Bugfixes:
- Kept hungry-chest scans idle-aware in real play while making headless tests complete chests through explicit probes.
- Updated MTS compatibility probes for Multi-Team Support 0.4.43 vanilla surface naming.
Version: 0.1.4
Date: 28. 05. 2026
Features:
- Under Multi-Team Support, the map intro now shows as a tab on MTS's unified
welcome screen, and the Expanse player settings (SpectatorMode, button position)
show as a tab on MTS's Team Settings panel, instead of the standalone Config GUI.
Requires Multi-Team Support 0.4.43+ for the welcome-screen integration.
Changes:
- No spawn flash: vanilla teams now play directly on the surface MTS spawns them
onto. The Expanse world is generated on Nauvis and replicated to each team by
MTS's clone_mirror, so players are never relocated to a throwaway surface.
- Team setup is driven by MTS's on_player_joined_team event, and surfaces are
resolved via MTS's get_surface_owner where available.
- The standalone Config GUI (and its admin Blueprint Library / Spaghett options) is
hidden under MTS but unchanged in non-MTS games.
Bugfixes:
- Cross-team parity: per-cell randomness (including the starting tree species) is
now keyed by planet and position, so every team gets identical content.
- Team hosts are no longer auto-promoted to Factorio admin (that granted server
admin to anyone who started a team); the /expanse-* commands still require admin.
- A team leader spectating another team is no longer pulled back to their base.
Optimizations:
- The hungry-chest scan is skipped for teams with nobody online.
Version: 0.1.3
Date: 28. 05. 2026
Changes:
- Added a Mod Portal and in-game mod browser thumbnail.
- Added a gameplay screenshot to the README and Mod Portal description.
Version: 0.1.2
Date: 27. 05. 2026
Changes:
- Added deterministic cell-open biter camps that are tracked separately from stripped natural enemies.
- Added automated probes for hungry chest rerolls, synchronized team rerolls, and cell-open biter spawning.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed coin rerolls on hungry chests.
- Fixed synchronized chest rerolls so teams that reroll the same cell receive the same result.
- Fixed cell-open biter behavior for regular opens and admin opens.
Locale:
- Clarified cell-open spawner setting descriptions.
