Armor with equipment slots and upgradable (with tech) reactor/battery/exoskeleton/roboport is available from the start. Original exoskeleton is disabled for player armor. Early construction robots with very small battery.

Hi! Is there a way for you to check other mods that add modded armors? From what ive read and been told:

Yours: Removes " equipment grid " from armor sets
Mine: adds a couple more armors

yours: does not add the grids to modded armors

EDIT: I myself have not played your mod, im going off spectacles

would it be easier for Modders ( me ) to attach your Grid to the new armors if they have your mod
OR
if you checked for modded armors and gave a grid that way?

Hi! Vanilla equipment grids are shared between armor and vehicles, so I had to make a new ones, to prohibit usage of some equipment in vehicles.
I think it's best for you to add my mod as optional dependency and add mine equipment_categories to your new armor grids.
They should have equipment_categories = {"armor", "player"}

If thats all it needs than, alright. I'll try it myself soon, both of mine had just "armor", and you say armor +player is how yours reads it
sounds like a very simple solution haha nice .
is the category "player" already exist in this aspect or do you create it?
I ask this as I can figure it out by getting an error code if it doesnt, thanks for responding so soon.

My mod adds 2 equipment categories: "vehicle" and "player" - to limit equipment for specific grid type, vanilla "armor" is for equipment that can be used both in armor and vehicle grids.
