Where DID I leave my car/tank/spidertron/other modded vehicle? This mod adds a tool-belt icon to help you track it down.

Could you add Companions to ignored list https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Companion_Drones they cannot be used by drivers/passenger.
Or an even better idea: add configurable map/player field in settings with entities name/id for an ignoring list.
Already exists. Look in Settings > Mod Settings > "Per player" tab. There's a "Hide vehicles from results" setting. Hover over it for instructions on how to figure out the internal entity name.
