g Warptorio compatibility

I'm not sure if this is planetorio or warptorio2, but on changing planets (aka factorio surfaces) it can result in the new surface lacking any of the additional ores this mod pack provides.

Looks like someone raised this as a bug on planetorio (for BZ mods) and on warptorio2 (for OmniMatter)

I think you can update the various templates to inject the additional resources in by calling getTemplates/RegisterTemplate and force-upgrading them. Haven't really dug into how it adjust the planet generation config however.

Thanks for letting me know. I have never tried warptorio, but it seems like a good mod to add support for. I will look into this.

It looks like the ores not spawning in as expected has been fixed, but with the full "Very BZ" pack there you are blocked from unlocking researching as there is a "repairable" lab which requires crafting circuits and copper wires to feed to it. Crafting those is locked behind having a working research lab.

I am not very familiar with Warptorio, and cannot figure out where the circuits are required for starting research. I can't find any other lab than the normal one, which only requires red science to begin researching. Can you help point me in the right direction?

Also thanks for letting me know about the ores issue, I'm glad PyroFire was able to address that!

The blocker was from another mod; Warptorio2 Expansion; https://mods.factorio.com/mod/warptorio2_expansion

This one adds 'missions' to get tech unlocks to drag the player out of their base more consistently than the Warptorio2 gameplay does. Part of that is a starting bootstrap phase to unlock research by feeding resources to a damaged lab so it can then be switched to a 'repaired' one.

I have attempted to make this compatible, by no longer requiring circuits and copper cable to repair the damaged lab. Updated in latest Aluminum
