Good day Brevven !

I have been experimenting using the full BZ suite with a bunch of mods, and SCT is the latest of them. You already gave basic support for it by removing copper from the red science pack, which is of course highly appreciated. I am looking at the other packs and think that they could definitely use a step up in complexity, to keep in line with the goal of your mods !

While I wouldn't presume balancing your own mods, here's a quick suggestion list for each pack :

Green science :

SCT green science recipe has two items: ATMOS Reaction nodes (1 iron plate, 2 electromagnetic coils which are already aluminum based) and ATMOS Instrumentation, which comes from a 3-step process of getting intermediaries for the next step.

4 Wafer-stamps take 4 iron plates =>2 more iron plates for 2 microwafers => 1 copper plate + 1microwafer gives you 10 microcircuits => 1 iron plate, 1 green circuit and 10 microcircuits gives you the ATMOS instrumentation

Total cost : 5 iron plates, 1 aluminum plate, 1 copper plate and 1 green circuit for 1 science pack.

SUGGESTION :

Adding 2 more BZ plates to the first step, perhaps replacing 2 iron plates. I have no idea what could replace the iron plates for the microwafers, as the obvious choice of silicon wafers are not available at that stage. However, solder could be added to the third step

Silica may be part of the equation, especially regarding ATMOS reaction nodes

The next science packs do get quite complex, but before delving into them, I'd like to make sure theses are suggestions/feedback you're actually interested in, as I 100% understand that this might be something you'd much rather look at by yourself

Hello, thanks for your suggestion! Indeed I am interested. Aside from loading it up in sandbox modes for compatibility, I haven't played SCT yet, which has made it harder for me to integrate more than preventing deadlocks. Integrating BZ+SCT more deeply is something I would like to do, and I'll certainly listen to any suggestions you have, and will go from there. Maybe this will also finally give me an excuse to play SCT through :)

I've made a few updates to SCT support at the green science stage. And a single additional one so far for blue science (alumina in a component of the laser).

Damn, nice, never been happier to have my science setup wrecked by an update :D Thanks for the update!
