g Recomended Mods to play with Biters-Drop-Ore

First off, I really enjoyed this Mod for what it is.
However, there are a few things to consider, mainly about power generation. As of yet, biters don't drop uranium ore, so you have to go without nuclear power (which is ok in my book).
You get oil barrels from biters but you get way more than you will ever need for things like plastic production. Yes, I know, you can never have "too much" of anything in Factorio, however, keep in mind that with this mod, you can't drill for specific resources. You can just farm more biters but they'll always drop resources in the same ratios, so you cannot, say, increase your copper production without increasing everything else.
So you'll amass a lot of oil barrels which have a very low stack size and to make things worse, even if you use them up somehow, you'll end up with an equal amount of empty barrels that will never leave the system.
So, after playing and fiddling with this mod for over 100 hours, I strongly recommend to anybody playing this to install at least these two mods:

1) KS POWER
which adds alternative power generators, among them one that can burn crude oil, so you can use up all that extra oil.

2) BARREL-BREAKDOWN
which adds a recipe to convert empty barrels back into steel.

Another two mods that go very well with this mod are:

3) Armored Biters
Most players use this anyways. But beware that Armored Biters do NOT drop ore when combined with this mod! Again, I think that's okay. For one it makes things more spicy. Secondly it allows for strategic options. With this mod you will want to keep certain nests alive and build a "farm" around it. There are no armoured versions of spitters. Usually you want to eliminate the spitter nests because spitters, even if they don't break your defences, will mess up your belts that you use to automatically transfer the ore they drop. But each nest will grant more resources because it's guaranteed they'll never spawn armoured biters that are devoid of resources.

4) Goblin Ore
Biters-Drop-Ore is probably designed to play without any regular resources, however, this can be tedious early game and many players might want to mix no matter what. During my runs I significantly reduced the size, frequence and richness of ore patches but didn't eliminate them altogether. This was a good decision imho because it allowed me to get some extra resources of a certain type in a pinch because, as stated above, you can't just increase the production of one type without increasing everything else as well. But since the patches are small and rare I have to work for it and go long distances. Worked well for me.
Anyway, Goblin Ore mod adds resource patches that yield randomly mixed ores. This is in the same spirit as Biters-drop-Ore, so I added this. I did so retroactively, so it affected only newly spawned patches and if I got that right, there will still spawn regular patches. It's just a good addition thematically.

So, enjoy! Would be nice to list these (at least the first 2) as recommendations in the description of this mod. And maybe consider to include the barrel breakdown in your mod.
