Biter Reincarnation


When an enemy unit or worm dies it tries to reincarnate back in to nature, be it a tree, rock, cliff or water. Occasionally the angry biters can burst into a flaming tree.

b [Resolved] 1.1.56 error

after updating to version 1.1.56 after resuming a game in previous version, it now gives this error on launching the save game.

The mod Biter Reincarnation (20.0.18) caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.

This is caused by a bug in the Factorio API introduced in 1.1.56 I believe. I will release a hotfix for base game trees, but alien biomes and other modded trees will likely remain broken until the core Factorio issue is fixed.

Version with work around released.
Once the next experimental Factorio is released and verified I will do another release to remove the work around :)
