As you are probably well aware of, the three different balancer recipes are all craft the same item with the same speed. Consider either implementing different tier belt balancer items or as a place holder, remove the different recipes until a better solution.

I feel like the different belt balancer recipes are meant to just be a convenience. It speeds up how fast it takes to craft them, depending on what stage of the game you're at and what items you have on hand

Yes, but they all craft the same belt balancer with the same speed. Is that the intended behavior? That's akin to playing in sandbox mode and trusting yourself to not use any cheats. I feel like that each recipe should craft a different item with different speeds, or is that hard to implement? An easier to implement solution that I could think of would be a research tree that increases the maximum amount belt balancers that can be combined, or better yet; maximum amount of inputs and outputs. I could think of a few other ways aswell.

To be clear, I'm not the mod author, I'm just a random schmuck who likes the mod. But I do agree, adding tiers you can unlock over the course of the game to keep pace with the belt speeds would make sense, instead of just having one item rule them all (and honestly being a bit op).
Also I'm just a sucker for anything that has tiers

Just picked up this mod. Yeah, it seems like the framework is there for tiered belts its just not ... implemented. So why at this point waste 15 blues on a balancer, other than its relatively trivial, and it feels cheaty not to. /shrug
