You can just use elevated rails now (if you have Space Age).

Might look into something want to finish space age first.

I've been waiting for 2.0 support too, maybe somebody can fork this?

I did eventually end up buying Space Age, but a way to do bridges without having to buy that DLC would be nice. No need for the fancy Elevated Rails, but just a way to put tracks on water without landfill. (Landfill blocks boats.)

There is also one other problem that recently occurred me the curved rails would need to be redone and I don't have the means to do that. Base game 2.0 changes the rails as well so no luck there.

Oh, I suppose I should ask Kapaer, the original creator, then. My bad.
