Could you make it so that if a vehicle has equipment grid with the necessary equipment installed, it will use repair packs from it's trunk to repair itself?
I'm aware that with vehicle grids I could just outfit my tank with logistics equipment, construction bots and repair packs. But then my bots die!
Need a way to repair on the go too and not worry bout leaving my bots behind. If you were to add this, then perhaps also making it so vehicles cannot be repaired by bots would also be good.

Suggested equipment:
Tier 1:
- Automobile Insurance "In case of vehicular accidents, will help you correct the damage. Uses repair packs form the player's inventory for to make repairs on damaged objects from collisions."
- Auto Repair System (ARS) "Uses repair packs from vehicle trunk to conduct automated vehicle repairs."
Tier 2:
- Self-sealing Stem Bolts "Lost bolts automatically reattach themselves to correct any damage. Doesn't use repair packs, but a lot of equipment energy instead."

The early versions of this mod would, first, search the player, then the vehicle, and then passengers. I forget why but I removed it, but I can try adding that feature back in again and either update the mod or report why I can't do that.

I'll see about getting the player and vehicle searched, but I've only played singleplayer, so I don't know about passengers.

I have yet to make equipment, and I have little graphical skills for them, but I can offer an equipmentless approach for now. Settings would be something I would look into as well.

I think it would be better to search vehicle first, then players. Use the vehicles trunk inventory to repair before stealing from player, this way you can simply have a supply station set up for your tank or what-not.

Yes I also think It would be more practical if the vehicle was checked first, maybe even an excluding setting to choose !
Only player's inventory, only vehicle's inventory, or both. But hey, that's nitpicking, love the mod as it is ! ^^
