This mods aims to automate the collection of loot. In vanilla factorio, there is no loot (except from nests) but some mods add loot from aliens like Bob's mods. If you have researched the automated construction technology (blueprint tech), this mod will mark items on the ground near dead aliens to be deconstructed by logistic bots (every 3s). If you have bots around, you will be able to collect loot automatically !
