I've just tried the mod and it works well for furnaces.
However, assembling machines don't pull the recipe items they need and I haven't found a way to bypass this by setting up a belt of some sort since there are no more location for items.
Check your other mods, some other mod might change the name or ID of assembly machines, so they are no longer recognized by this mod. It works well for me.
