Hi. I honestly have not looked into either Angel's or Bob's, so not quite sure what they have added.
You might be able to customize the mod yourself, by replacing the {"iron-gear-wheel", 2} in the 'recipe.lua' file, with whatever Angel's or Bob's use as key/name for their gears.
