g [addressed] Compatibility with Stable Foundations?

I love this mod - makes my base designs so much more interesting than just the standard "plop down a row of machines and a row of beacons next to them."

Quick question - would it be difficult to add compatibility between this mod and the "Stable Foundations" mod? I think that other mod also uses a sort of "beacon effect" for the bonuses that the foundations under the buildings get. Any chance of making the two compatible?

Sure. Added support for that in the newest version.

Awesome, thank you!

I used Isolation Beacon, which I found doesn't seem to be compatible, if there are Stable Foundations tiles, Isolation Beacon has no effect.

Wanted to second that bug report, Isolation Beacons stop working with stable foundations. When flooring is removed from underneath a machine, the beacon begins working again.

This actually happens with the other beacons as well, just to a lesser degree. It depends on whether the beacon's diminishing returns take into account all beacons, or just beacons of the same type. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to account for all normal beacons and only exclude the invisible beacons added by Stable Foundations.

The diminishing returns for most beacons are balanced around different beacons potentially affecting the same machines, so I think Stable Foundations may not be fully compatible with most beacon mods - at least those which use diminishing returns or have "normal" beacons. I can fix this for isolation beacons and other "solo" beacons by making them only take into account themselves, but that solution doesn't work for beacons which are meant to be usable alongside different beacons.

Either list it as incompatible, or add an in-game hint that when you place a beacon from the Alternative Beacons series, determine if it has the Stable Foundations Mod, and if it does, hint that a beacon from the Alternative Beacons series will have no effect.
I've cancelled the Stable Foundations Mod at the moment because Alternative Beacons are so much more useful.

Ah, gotcha! That makes a good amount of sense, I'll just have to play around it. I can probably find a way to make stable foundations only provide the damage reduction and not any module buffs, I'll see if that might work.
