Alloy Smelting

Something's not right. One of the fundamental rules of the world have changed. No matter how many iron plates you put into the furnaces, nothing comes out of them. You look at the manual and sure enough, there's a crossed-out section with a little footnote scribbled in sideways next to it:

add ½ pound coal, twice-baked

Alright then, you have some spare coal in the pantry so it's not a big deal... but why did she write it in crayon?

Mechanics

Alloy Smelting adds Coke, smelted from coal and used as an extra ingredient in smelting steel plates. To complement this, 2 new buildings have been added. These are the Brick kiln and Electric kiln, which are used for smelting recipes that require more than 1 ingredient. This is not a unique mechanic, but a lightweight mod that adds this hadn't been updated to 1.

When Space Age is installed, the mod also adds Coke to the recipe for Carbon, which is used for alloy metallurgy in the Foundry (specifically Casting steel in vanilla SA).
