i [Implemented] Compatibility with Angel’s Petrochem

Hi there. I had a play with this mod in creative mode a few months ago, and enjoyed the concept of increasing enrichment levels compared to the one-step vanilla centrifuges. I saw something similar on YouTube a while back and I was really pleased to find this mod.

One little thing stopped me from using the mod in my main save (Bobs and Angels, plus quite a few other mods), however. I am setting myself the challenge of recycling fluids as much as possible rather than voiding; fluoric waste water is converted into fluorite ore, which is then used to make hydrofluoric acid. I have quite a lot of HF in storage tanks, which this mod would be excellent at using up! Unfortunately, the recipe to enrich uranium requires your version of HF (either from this mod or from a recipe in your chemistry mod). As such, I would need another production chain for your HF, while my own reserves of HF remain unused. I’ve tried using the converter valve but to no avail.

Angel’s Petrochem is one of the most popular Factorio mods. If someone is playing a modded game, particularly if looking for additional complexity (as this mod also brings), then they are likely to using the BA suite of mods. As such, would it be possible for you to include an option to use Angel’s HF in the enrichment recipe? If so then I, for one, would definitely use your mod in my main saves. I could probably make the change myself, but wanted to ask you first as it is your mod.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback and interest. I have considered introducing code to let the user use hydrofluoric acid from other mods. Let me ask you this: where HF is used, do you like my fluid and chemical recipe colorings or Angel's more? This is one of the decisions I have to make when deciding what to do with it. I'm inclined to use mine because I use a sort of color deduction system to define the colors. It shares some colors with sulfuric but not others, to simulate the "removal" of the sulfur group from the mixture.

I think it would be great for people to be able to use hydrofluoric acid from other mods to produce the various recipes that require HF introduced by my chemical mod and nuclear mod. I would even consider adding to this an algorithm that makes hydrofluoric versions of all recipes that take sulfuric acid, which might further enhance mod compatibility.

OK, I've made it so when you're using Angel's Petrochem and also not using Adamo Chemical, you will be required to use the hydrofluoric acid from Angel's mod. I don't use Angel's so please let me know if you run into any issues.
