How do I enable Fluid Compatibility?
GUI won't even open!

Hi there,

Thank you so much for using the Xiten mod! I really appreciate your support and I'm always here to help.

Regarding your question, I'm not entirely sure what you meant by "enabling" it via a GUI, as the system works automatically. To clarify how Xiten Fluid functions, please refer to the explanation and the logic below:

Input Requirement: The system requires a specific Input Fluid to be present first.

Output Logic: Once the input is detected, the system will process and produce X amount of Output Fluid.

No GUI Needed: This process is handled by the machines/pipes themselves, so you don't need to open a separate menu to toggle it.

I have attached an image below to illustrate this flow:

If you are still unable to see the UI or if the fluids aren't flowing as expected, please provide a bit more detail (or a screenshot of your setup) so I can assist you further!

Hi there,

Thank you for the update.

I want to clarify that I have tested the Xiten mod with the complete Pyanodons suite installed, and everything is working perfectly normal on my end. The fluid logic functions as intended without any issues.

To investigate why it is not working specifically in your setup, I need to look at your configuration directly. Could you please provide your save file? This will allow me to load your world, check your pipe layouts, and identify if there is a specific conflict or a setup error.

I have attached an image below as proof that the mod is fully functional within a Pyanodons environment:

I am committed to helping you fix this. Please share the save file whenever you can so I can take a closer look!

When I start a new map, it works fine.
I don't know why, but thank you for your reply.

Hi there,

I’m glad to hear it works on a new map!

The reason it failed on your existing world is likely due to cached data from an older version of the mod stored in your save file. When you update to a new version, sometimes the old fluid logic or entity data in the save doesn't sync correctly with the new code, leading to the issues you experienced.

If you wish to continue playing on your current save without starting over, I recommend downgrading to the previous version of the mod that you were using before.

Here is how you can do it:

Go to the Xiten mod page on the Factorio Mod Portal.

Click on the "Downloads" tab.

Find the specific version you were using previously and download it.

Replace the new version in your mods folder with this older one.

However, for the best experience and to access new features, using a new save with the latest version is always the most stable option.

Thank you for your patience and for supporting the Xiten mod!
