Nice one! The point of having wind turbine is to supplement solar panels which don't work at night. However wind turbine should have its downside and that should be varying output that depends on wind strength. To be UPS friendly it could slightly change wind strength every 60 or even 600 ticks.

mKay i can try to make that but its very difficult for me.
do you have another suggestion for me about what I could do if I didn't make it?

crazy idea: but I've noticed that there are two rotations for windmills that can't be switched once placed. Maybe make it so wind is stronger in one direction and weaker in the other, and have those swap so it's more efficient to place alternating wind turbines

Maybe you could reuse part of MoWeather mod, it makes the wind varies over time.
It is possible to access wind speed in a lua script using myTurbineEntity.surface.wind_speed, which will be a value varying from 0 to 1.
I am planing a mod around weather.
