Hi,

I've installed the following mods:
-Merging Chests
-Merging Chests All Types (the mod I'm leaving this comment on, that is)
-Merging Chests Unlimited
-Merging Chests Logistic
-AAI Containers & Warehouses
-AAI Containers reskin for Merging Chests
-Merging Chests AAI Containers & Warehouse Fix

None of the chests are merging at all, no matter what is selected, and I can't select more than one type of chest in the mod settings; the options in the drop-down are "Wooden Chest", "Iron Chest", and "Steel Chest", none of which function, and this is with "Merging Chests All Types" installed and enabled.

I saw in another discussion thread (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/WideChestsAllTypes/discussion/62573ea2986a58fec8d92d82) that someone had the same issue, and I was unsure if they managed to resolve it and if so, how, because the advice in that thread didn't seem relevant to me--you suggested they install the mod I already have installed, and then they did something I was unclear on that seemed to allow them to merge Wooden and Iron chests, which I can't do.

Hi, I don't know what to tell you. When I installed newest versions of the mods you listed I'm able to merge all chest types: https://imgur.com/a/aB6mlwD

And the "Mergable chest" mod setting is basically ignored when "Merging Chests All Types" mod is installed.

Perhaps there's an interaction with another mod that hasn't been flagged on load. I'll look into it myself (tho be warned, i r a idiot), but for posterity, here's:

I modified the latter to be a .json file with a new line after each setting, then placed some relevant mod settings at the top for easy access.
I left a visual gap where they used to go, for clarity, in case the order is important (not a Factorio modder myself so idk if the game has a load order or similar worth factoring in here but it seems alphabetical to me).
I may have missed some, though, because as previously mentioned, I am a idiot.

I hope this is helpful, I realise it's a volume of data you probably don't need, so I've at least tried to make it quicker for you to parse should you need or be inclined to 😅

Holy essey. Yes, there is a problem with mods which modify stack sizes of chests. Since my mod works only with specific list of chests names the only thing I can think of is some mod is renaming all chests into something else. For example nullius renamed "wooden-chest" to "small-chest" which caused problems.

First I'd try is to remove all mods which were not on the list in first post to sanity check that it works same for both of us. And then you could add mods to check when it breaks.
