Warp Drive Machine


You are in relative control of a spacecraft equipped with a warp drive that distorts the shape of the space-time continuum and may travel at speeds greater than that of light by many orders of magnitude. Jump from planet to planet and extract most resources you can to rebuild you ship. Each planet is unique with its own challenges, and you can stay limited time on it, until spaceship warps toward another world.

Thank you for the best Factorio mod I've ever played.

I've always been the type of player that likes a challenge, puzzles, and when it comes time to build a big base just for the sake of it, quits.
This mod managed to deliver that for 133 hours. Puzzles along the way, difficulty, amazing integration with the base game, and no need for mega base, so a redesign over and over as you unlock new things

Writting this to, mostly. Thank you. Almost no bugs, an execution that made me forget this is an overhaul mod and not an official game, and everything:
- The manage of the ship
- Artifacts to progress
- UI
- Extra helps your ship provides
- Integration with Space age planets

Again, thank you so much, good sir.

On one extra note... after also being a tester for 133 hours. Here is the list of things I would change, or at least, modify (no, no changes to difficulty):
- If you're playing Single Player, I agree multiplayer is recommended. I won't say make it easier. I would say, if you're having trouble, get a Power armor suit MK2 with bots at the start of the game. Some call it cheating, I called them my multiplayer mates. I would add that as a recommendation in the mod page
- I almost got bricked in Gleba. The amount of "pollution" my ship was throwing at the air was so much, when I finally left, I had to delete the surface, to make my FPS go above 25. And since I wasn't farming that many plants, I wasn't getting attacked... Maybe add a change so your ship is attacked? Or maybe not as much pollution?
- Take agriculture science out of the randomizer in the shop. I started playing with a modded 900 hour expiration, because not much one can do when reaching a shop, specially for the puzzle, and it requests something even if I was prepared, I cant make it, nor can keep it
- Maybe allow other sciences to be build outside main planets? Reaching the end game, I ended up having to spend 2 hours on Aquilo, Fulgura, ... each just waiting for science to build. I used a time lapse mod, but if allowed to store resources on ship and then build science on travels, much better
- The mission to reach the promethium crystal, three things here:
1. I think you should make the drill invulnerable, or at least move when under the effect of acid. It was the only time when I got super frustrated and angry, because it was genuinely not fair. I had 10 spider trons, but the moment the truck moved 1 inch, if I was unlucky enough for 20 worms to spawn, insta hit, not much I could do.
2. There is a super easy exploit in this mission: impossible if you go all in (my first run). Smooth easy if you trigger the bomb that resets evolution (my second run)
4. Probably because of frustration, since it took 4 hours to reach, was too angry and frustrated to notice, but maybe a text sign showing what to do with the crystal. I needed a second run, because didn't even noticed the first time promethium ore was spawning
- Maybe just on my end, but couldn't find any place in filters to filter prometheum asteroid chunks
- A way to change home planet: I got lucky, and picked a decent one. I was confused how it worked at the start, so If I got it wrong and chose one with bitters everywhere, or very bad resources? Maybe add a way to, even just once more, change home planet?

I'm pushing a new version adding more resistances to the driller in promethium mission.
It is already possible to change the Home planet.
About space age sciences, I'm waiting for 2.1 to see what happens...
I've made gleba plantation possible inside the ship in Deep Core Operations and it is working nice.
