Just wanted to say that burner inserters pulling items from Voidshed at some point WILL be left without fuel, don't use them for this role.
I wanted to use them so some of fuel byproducts would be used instead of filling the belt and in case of blackout will still continue to work but alas, in the end they will sometime get slime as fuel and it's fuel value is so low that sometimes they don't finish their cycle and stop halfway.
Not sure if this even should or can be fixed... it just looked so great when I built it so I wanted to share. Oh well, back to electric inserters :)
Too bad there isn't a setting for which fuel they should consume themselves.

Or maybe it's some in-game logic related specifically to Voidshed producing multiple fuel. I used burner inserters to put slime into boilers and so far these does not seem to get stuck, not even one

Seems like I understood it. The burners happily take the fuel, it's just sometimes the RNG in Voidshed produces more ore than fuel. I'll try using 2 inserters, one filtered for slime, and another for everything else. Maybe this way the fuel RNG cen keep the main inserter fueled.
