The spoil time of inert coherence catalysts get higher with higher quality, considering how it is used this is a clear downgrade. I would expect the spoil time to go down if anything.
Unfortunately, that isn't something mods have any control over. It would probably be a good idea to just disable quality entirely for that recipe, which is what I'll do in the next version of Voidcraft.
