i Option for non-block style play

I would like to be able to play a scenario that's a relatively normal world, with extremely low resources. You'd get access to a little bit of raw materials on each planet, but would still have to make use of voidblock-specific tools like Voidshed. What few resource patches exist outside the starting area would be far apart, small, and run out quickly, but would still be a possible source of raw materials. The starting water pool could be replaced with void ocean to take advantage of its recipes, or all water on Nauvis could be replaced with void ocean to make aquamancy necessary.

You can get pretty close to this by playing Voidcraft (without Void Block) and turning the resource sliders all to the minimum. You wouldn't have voidsheds, then, but you'd have a small amount of starting resources to be able to build some voidforges to get started instead. Or do you specifically want to have voidsheds available?

I found the logistic problem of sorting out the voidsheds' random output to be interesting, and since it was fully free vs voidforge/voidworks needing fuel/energy, it was appealing at an early stage of the game. I've since done exactly as you described, doing a non-voidblock, voidcraft-centered run with resource sliders set way down low. I'm into the mid/late game and haven't bothered with trains and with mining anything past the starting patches on any vanilla planet. When the largest patch of copper I found was less than 1.0M, far far away from my base, there just wasn't any point.
