I was attempting to run this mod with another that would give me a custom grid for the spidertron. However, it would override the setting I have for the spidertron.

My suggestion is within the dropdown box add an option that is "ignore" so that the mod will not touch that certain vehicle. so it helps others that are using more than one grid adjusting mod.

If that is something that is not able to do, can you increse the options to include 12 by 12 grid size?

Set override to disabled.
If it still uses grids from my mod I'll need to other mod name to make it optional dependency.
