Whenever I look at a remote part of my base, across the map, to see biters destroying the walls. The drones will leave my player and then march across the entire map to repair the walls. Is this intended behavior? I am also not sure, but it also seems like the drones are spawning in the remote view too? Maybe a check is missing to only spawn the drones for jobs around the entity that contains the drones.
I mean it can be helpful in repairing the walls a little bit... It would be nice if there was at least a setting for the max range the bots can navigate away from the source. There are even some scenarios where the bots navigate really far from the player to get around my wall. Setting a max navigation distance would help mitigate that (would be a good setting). Though I understand you may not know how far the bots need to travel to arrive at a location until they get there, so just a standard distance check would suffice.
