True Nukes


Adds realistic nuclear blasts, and more nuclear options, including various scales of atomic artillery shell, as well as atomic cannon shells. Also adds thermobaric weapons (these are like fuel air bombs), which act as early game nukes. Simulates the blast wave, thermal impact, crater and fireball of nuclear weapons.

g [Already implemented] Weapons Delivery Cannon Targeting Remotes

Hi,

Space Exploration recently added targeting remotes for weapons delivery cannons with version 0.6.118. They are used to place targets on the ground, artillery-style, for the weapons delivery cannons to fire at. They only support the "native" SE payloads, which means only the "Large rocket, 20t atomic warhead" (presumably converted from vanilla atomic bombs) have targeting remotes.

Would it be possible to add remotes for all the other True Nukes payloads?

The game crashed upon attempting to open a weapons delivery cannon with a 15 kT warhead capsule already in it. SE itself crashed so I'll report it to SE, but here is the crash FYI:

Oh, that's interesting. I changed the recipe name, which probably caused the issue.... I really should have added some migrations, which I'll look at later/tomorrow.

OK, really sorry about the slow response, but I think it should be fixed in the latest version of T-N, I think.

No worries at all :)

I updated the TN to the latest version (0.3.31) but it still crashed when I tried to open the weapons delivery cannons with "15kt atomic warhead" and "large thermobaric warhead" capsules already in them. The other two cannons ("500t atomic warhead" and "large rocket, 20t atomic warhead") were fine.

However, I was able to work around the issue by simply deleting the cannons and putting them back. The game did not crash when the capsules entered my inventory, and I was able to put them back into the cannon output slots.

The carnage can continue :)

OK, I've patched the thermobarics (by re-uploading 0.3.31, since it's not seen that many downloads) - if you want to see it, delete and reinstall the mod, otherwise don't bother.
I'm not sure what's causing the 15kt to crash it, but it seems to be teething problems anyway.
