True Nukes


Adds realistic nuclear blasts, and more nuclear options, including various scales of atomic artillery shell, as well as atomic cannon shells. Also adds thermobaric weapons (these are like fuel air bombs), which act as early game nukes. Simulates the blast wave, thermal impact, crater and fireball of nuclear weapons.

b [Fixed] Tile removal?

Hello!

I'd like to use this mod in my modpack, which i'm playing with my friend, but i can't load it because of the amount of tiles I have in other mods. It thought that I could ask for a tileless version if that's even possible. This mod pushes the (tile) limit just about, but I really want to use it as it looks really cool!

There is already such an option, in the startup options - If you load up the mod on its own, you should see an option called something like "Use new crater tiles" - disabling this will cause the mod not to add any new tiles.
This does lock off some of the larger nukes (actually they might just crash the game - I can't remember whether I remembered to disable them), as in everything 100kt or above, unless you disable the "optimise 100kt" and "optimise 1Mt" in which case they will work (I'm pretty sure) - though everything above 1Mt will still fail, and the 100kt and 1Mt will have vast performance requirements.

However doing this does remove some of the effects - the craters look very flat, and the water filling is quite primitive.
I don't guarantee that future features will work without the new tiles - I'll always make the mod work, but not everything will be available.
Most other mods which add lots of tiles have some similar setting (I know Alien Biomes and Asphalt Roads do), and as I've said above, not everything can be done without adding tiles in this mod, so I would advise checking out your other mods compatibility settings - it might be that there are some added tiles which you have no intention of using.

UPDATE: I've tried it now, but it still for some reason loads the entities, because I still get the same error message, which says something about the limit of tiles being set to 255. I still can't load the mod with my other mods because of this. I've tried loading the mod on it's own and that works, but it doesn't work with my main mod pack because of the tile limit.

I'm pretty sure it does disable the tiles, but I might have broken something...
What other mods are you using?

It's a pretty long list, but the main ones that I think that add tiles are space exploration, alien biomes, dectorio and I don't know if AAI adds tiles but that's in there too. But the actual mod list is like 80 mods long, but the mods aren't like big ones they're mainly just quality of life mods.
