I experienced this, today, in a somewhat modded playthrough of Space Exploration + Krastorio 2. I can attach save/modlist if needed, though I think this is a pure TD bug.

I request iron in a requester, as seen in first image below. The request depot is filled with petroleum, and then this happens, repeatedly, non-stop:

Step 1: 3 trucks resides inside requester depot

Step 2: 1 Truck leaves depot for more iron.

Step 3: The truck is filled with exactly 10 iron.

Step 4: The truck enters the depot again, delivering the spawned iron.

This is repeated non-stop; and if I pick up the requester, and put it back down, add the iron recipe, adds 3 trucks, the same happens once more. ~500 iron at first, out of thin air, then repeatedly, with less and less, until 10 iron per iteration.

Note: Uncertain if it is related, but I just added roboports around the base, and I have the robotworld-continued mod.

Additonal information

1. The amount of iron picked up by the truck is not from thin air, but from the single iron provider depot, fed by belt. Thus decreased delivery over time.
2. Picking up the drones from problem depot, and create a need for a request for iron in an already existing req. depot gives the same faulty behavior.

Seeing the same thing. The drone momentarily appears at the requesting depot's 'door' and then disappears. One load of cargo is added to the requesting depot and one load removed from the supplying depot, but the drones do not actually make the journey.

In fact, before placing the request station, place a box at the entrance of the request station, and then you go to set the request station's demand items. If there's a corresponding item in the warehouse, the car starts teleporting.(ps:by translation software).
