I am transporting crude oil with the drones from a single, fairly big oil field. I had the issue, that I only had 20/100 drones running with an almost always filled up source depot and an almost always empty destination.

I solved the issue by using 3 fluid depots at the source instead of one which allows me to use about 60 drones. I think the issue is with the storage size of the fluid depot is too small (10k in my case).

If this is really the issue, I think I would make sense to make the storage capacity way bigger, as this is a really hard to see limit.
