If you are using the Transport drones mod and the Construction drones mod together, when you build roads from the transport drones mod using the construction drones, they build the road, and give you back even more road than you already had. This does not happen with vanilla path blocks. I'm not sure which one of the mods is causing this, so I'll leave this post here.
