I like this mod. Except 20 is just too slow So I have a couple of ideas and I don't even know if some of them will even work.

Option 1, multiple speed limit signs. i.e. 20/50/100 and train will slow down to that speed. and then speed up, or slow down based on next sign.

Option 2(prefered), Speed limit sign is basicly a new constant combinator that sets speed to the value of the signal or sum of signal and connected wire.

The aim of the mod was to make it possible to build safe rail crossings. If you have large area to cover, then I suggest to make few rail crossings and possibly fence all the area outside them.

For now it would be hard to introduce additional signs without significant performance drop. Anyway I will consider this, so something may appear in the next release.

I implemented your idea about constant combinators and right now I'm testing it. The speed limit sign is internally represented as a constant combinator, after placing a sign you get some kind of "friendly" GUI which asks you about the value of limit. For now it is not possible to control anything using circuit network, such features may appear in the future.

Next 1.0.5 version with customizable speed will appear here within next 24 hours.
