Both mods are really impressive, wanting to add auto decouple also. Would that work also?

This mod is compatible with just about everything.
When used alongside other mods adding rolling stock like Bobs Logistics or Yuokis Trains will be a bit broken as my wagons are at least twice as heavy and my locomotives equally more powerful. Use the startup setting to balance power and weight of TFO with other mods.

MU and Realistic Electric Trains are explicitly made compatible with TFO. Albeit MU makes my locomotives, especially the nuclear one, a fair bit overpowered. I'd recommend turning power down to at least 0.75 with MU unless you want OTTD Maglev accelerations.
