b No trees on Ore with clear ore patches disabled

With the below settings there are no trees appearing on the ore patches.

Hi Muppet,

The game includes a native bias against trees on resource patches. The mod's setting just makes it stronger (so those few straggling trees on the patch wouldn't be there with the setting on).

Yea we were looking to have trees everywhere including ore. In the end just used a scenario script to do it post chunk generation as a bodge.

edit: Fixed in the latest version. "Autoplace Optimized", the default mode, doesn't guarantee ore patch coverage but it usually happens. The other mode, "Autoplace", does guarantee trees over ore patches.

Yes, unfortunately no amount of noise boosting seems to override the vanilla tree removal for resource patches, and doing it post generation slows things down a ton.

I could possibly do something like that with big warning signs that it's a huge performance hit. Well, anyways, glad you found a workaround.
