Could I be possible to have a view and edit mode? The edit mode would as it is, but the view mode would remove the edit, delete and sorting options, also remove the field to write a new task.

The window is a bit big chunky, a small list would be very nice.

I don’t understand what you want to achieve with this. What information is not in the general view that you can see in the edit screen? Except task creator.

My goal is to have a as small view as possible. Only displaying the actual task list and a check box. If I want to edit, than the "edit mode" (which looks like the current normal mode) would open.

There would be an edit Button, which shows all options again.
The point is, that I could leave the Todo list open, without blocking half the screen.
