i Subtask visibility and map markers

I love Todo LIst, it's one of my favourite mods. I only have a couple of suggestions:

  • I think it should be clearer that a task has subtasks under it. Currently you wouldn't know unless you expanded a task, and tasks without subtasks look identical. Which isn't too much of a problem if you're playing alone, but on a server other players don't know. I've been working around this by adding "(subtasks)" on the end of the name.

  • I wish there was some way to link map markers to todo items. Maybe holding down a key when creating a map marker would create a companion todo item that you can jump to from the todo list.

Not sure if you need to do it yourself. Not exactly. The new rich text system lets you do this: [gps=x,y] which creates links to map positions. You can currently trigger this with "ctrl + alt + click", which logs it to chat. Maybe you could find out how this happens and then do the same except you'd simply pre-populate the task with that rich text? And the marker could just be a normal map marker that the game already offers. YARM generates these when you add a resource patch, if you want a reference for how to do that.

Fwiw, I actually personally want the subtask visibility thing more, because I'd really like to be able to see my next "step" in single player (which I play exclusively) without having to open up the whole task list. I am assuming that the plan was to have the current subtask appear below the current task in the "mega-condensed" view, or whatever you want to call it. The button. If it wasn't the plan, then consider that a feature request. Love the mod though. It's been a must-have for me since I first downloaded it.

That is a good hint, thanks. I'll take a look at the yarn code.

Currently I'm not at home and, thanks to life in general, don't have much time/energy for coding right now. That should change soonish hopefully :D
