They're chosen to be the top row +/- rather than numpad +/-, so they should not conflict.
If they do in your setup for some reason (maybe you rebound tile scaling due to being on a laptop without a numpad?), you can always rebind them under Options -> Controls -> Mods.
P.S. Mod authors don't get notified when new discussions are posted here. Your best bet, unless stated otherwise, is to look at Github issues (if linked from the mod) or a forum thread. I only noticed this post because I was coming here to post a note to that effect.
