Temporary Stations X


The mod lets you control the behaviour of trains upon arriving at temporary stations. The train either switches to manual mode or waits with custom conditions. You can also define a Train as your Personal Train and use the shortcut to call that train to your position.

Please add support for multiple trains if possible - 1 per "planet". When trying to add another train on another surface, this error appears - https://imgur.com/a/y9IdBY6

I think I managed to add support for multiple Worlds (surface), since it was a feature of the vanilla game anyway and not a special thing from SE.

Would you be so kind and test the version before I would publish it here?

I think I found a bug - I have switch to manual mode checked but it doesn't switch neither at or after the train goes to the temporary station.

Also, did the call button change? It seems to toggle on/off now instead of just clicking once to call the train.

Hey off-topic, but are you familiar with LTN and the LTN Combinator? If so can we talk on Discord about it? I have an idea about another mod.

Nope sorry, never used LTN. Did you used it with this mod? because there was a bug report about it on the original fork of this mod, but there is some commends in the code about a fix, so not sure if it is still a problem.

A lot use it both with this mod and in vanilla of course, but I personally don't care for it all that much. The reason I asked was that the LTN Combinator makes using LTN a lot easier. In SE, something like it is greatly needed. Think train logistics, but cargo rockets instead of trains.

https://spaceexploration.miraheze.org/wiki/Guide:_Rocket_Circuitry gives a nice overview (mostly under "Multi-item rockets"). I'm not sure if you have the time or interest in going down the SE rabbit hole, but a combinator for cargo rockets is greatly needed.

we can speak about it, but I wont promise anything, I'm not an expert about the Factorio Lua Api.
Only learned what I needed to make my mods or fix/modify mods I liked.
