i installed the mod and in my world i placed the item and i cant go in. It isnt working i can walk in the ladder but then nothing is happining

I have successfully ported the Surfaces mod to 0.17. I have tried to contact DeltaNedas, but haven't gotten any response from him. I have decided to release it as a separate mod for now.
