Were you using a personal suit charger? I can make it pull power from the network faster, but if I make the personal one much bigger, they will be used instead of accumulators. I could also increase how fast it can get energy. I am possibly looking at functionally removing the limits on the charging. In the mean time, what you could use is a suit station. It has a larger range and a larger buffer (by 1000x). That should charge all of your batteries instantly. And I also use those instead of accumulators (you need 1000 accumulators for one though). Just scatter them around your factory and you will always be charged.
